Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Master's preferred in child development, social work, education, psychology, or a related field
Have at least one year of experience working with children/teens with special needs (Highly Preferred) OR have at least one year of experience working with children/teens
Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed
The position requires lifting, carrying, frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting to observe, assess, and interact with clients.

Responsibilities

Create a fun, rewarding experience to generate a highly motivating environment to increase the level of skill development and performance for every client
Conduct assessments
Emphasize functional daily living and social skills necessary for clients to become active members of their family and community
Work in client homes and in the community
Provide individualized treatment planning, case management, and ongoing support to clients and families
Maintain high standards of care
