Adaptive Artist Founded in 1919 as Phototype and recently rebranded as the Olberding Brand Family, we are a family company focused on delivering the highest quality and client service in the graphics design, management and printing industry. Our clients are primarily consumer products companies and printers and we help them by delivering a broad range of services from brand strategy and packaging design, to adaptive design across various print and digital platforms, all the way to color management and the production of printing plates. An Adaptive Artist is the bridge between design and production art, is responsible for ensuring all work is built correctly from a technical standpoint while maintaining design integrity and consistency. To be successful in this position, you must possess an understanding of the design process and branding, and be able to maintain design intent, while referencing a representative sku, in building out packaging shelf sets and multiple mediums/packaging forms. The Adaptive Artist is an active member of the cross-functional ops team, giving and receiving feedback and sharing ideas. Responsible for creating and adapting artwork to other structures or variants based off the instructions using Adobe Illustrator. Not just exclusive to adaptive projects, you will be responsible for converting and translating customer submitted artwork into a press compatible file.
