About The Position

The Program Manager for the Ramps by Request Program, a key initiative within the broader ADA Curb Ramp Program. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of community-submitted requests, including intake, eligibility assessment, coordination, project completion, and ensuring efficient delivery and alignment with program objectives.

  • Experience managing programs and projects through the full lifecycle, including developing and overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships and engaging diverse stakeholders, including leadership, project teams, technical staff, community members, consultants, contractors, and partner agencies to achieve shared objectives.
  • Experience developing reports, presentations, and written communications that clearly convey complex technical or program information to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience monitoring project performance, managing risks and changes, and communicating project status, issues, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) year project or program management experience including budget, scope, schedule, risk and change management
  • A PMP Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Have program oversite and delivery of the Ramps by Request (RBR).
  • Ensuring the city is aligned with the CREEC Settlement Agreement by evaluating requests.
  • Identify improper evaluation and approvals that would lead to improper fiscal spending and programmatic misalignment resulting in violations of the CREEC Settlement Agreement.
  • Oversee, evaluate, and identify ineffective and/or improvements to processes.
  • Create and deliver reports to bureau and city leadership based on analysis.
  • Assist in enforcing codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations, report issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with bureaus in the Public Works Service Area (PWSA) to implement process improvements and changes.
