About The Position

Hema-Tec is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to provide acute dialysis care at partner hospitals in the Saginaw, Michigan area. The technician prepares and maintains dialysis machines, monitors patients’ vital signs and treatment parameters, identifies changes, and responds appropriately to support safe and comfortable treatments. The role works closely with nursing staff to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care. This is a full-time, day-shift position, typically starting between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. The schedule is dynamic and responds to patient census. The technician reports directly to the Team Supervisor. Requirements

Completion of a Dialysis Training program.
Current CCHT Certification.
At least one year of experience as a dialysis technician.
Strong patient assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team setting.
Must pass the Ishihara Color Blindness test.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain dialysis machines for patient treatments.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and treatment parameters, identify changes, and respond appropriately to support patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate and communicate with nursing staff to deliver coordinated dialysis treatments.
Provide care at partner hospitals in the Saginaw area, including Covenant Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital - Saginaw, McLaren Bay Region Hospital, McLaren Bay Special Care Rehab, and McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.
