About The Position

Hema-Tec is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to provide acute dialysis care at partner hospitals in the Saginaw, Michigan area. The role involves preparing and maintaining dialysis machines, monitoring patients’ vital signs and treatment parameters, and collaborating closely with nursing staff to support safe, effective, and comfortable treatments. The position reports directly to the Team Supervisor. This is a full-time, day-shift role. The workday typically starts between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m., and the schedule varies according to patient census and care needs. Work locations include Covenant Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital - Saginaw, McLaren Bay Region Hospital, McLaren Bay Special Care Rehab, and McLaren Central Michigan Hospital. Requirements

Completion of a dialysis training program.
Current Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification.
At least one year of experience as a dialysis technician.
Strong patient assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team setting.
Must pass the Ishihara Color Blindness test.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain dialysis machines for patient use.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and treatment parameters, identify changes, and respond appropriately.
Work closely and collaboratively with nursing staff to deliver dialysis treatments.
Provide care at partner hospitals in the Saginaw area.
