About The Position
Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join their team and work alongside an Interventional Cardiologist. This premier cardiology practice, with offices in Cypress, Katy, Sealy, Fulshear, and Houston, has served the Greater West Houston area for over 40 years. They offer a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, including EKGs, stress tests, ablations, ultrasounds, cardiac nuclear medicine, Holter and event monitors, cardiac PET-CT scans, WATCHMAN FLX™, Reveal LINQ™, VenaSeal™ procedures, sclerotherapy, and clinical trials. The ACNP will work under the general supervision of the primary supervising physician and all physician partners, delivering competent medical care to adult and geriatric patients. The role involves independent work and collaboration with the Memorial Katy Interventionalist to assess, manage, and treat complex cardiovascular conditions in high acuity units.
Requirements
- Accredited NP or PA Program Graduate
- ACNP Board Certification or Eligible
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology experience is preferred as an ACNP or new graduates with RN cardiology background.
- Outpatient clinic setting and hospital rounding experience is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred to accommodate patient population.
Responsibilities
- Deliver competent medical care to an age-specific population including adults and geriatric patients.
- Work independently and collaborate with the Memorial Katy Interventionalist.
- Assess, manage, and treat complex cardiovascular conditions in high acuity units.
