About The Position

Wellstar Health System is seeking an inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Wellstar Pulmonary Medicine. This is a 100% inpatient pulmonary role covering four hospitals: Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Cobb Hospital in Austell, Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, and Paulding Hospital in Hiram. The practice includes all aspects of pulmonary medicine, including critical care, sleep medicine, outpatient pulmonary, interventional pulmonary, pulmonary rehab, and clinical research. The position involves collaborating with physicians attending to complete inpatient rounding, assisting with new consults, and performing bedside procedures. On-the-job procedure training will be provided for thoracentesis and potential for chest tube placement.

Requirements

• Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
• Active or eligible for a GA State Medical License
