About The Position

As an Acura Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our dealership by delivering exceptional sales experiences to customers interested in Acura vehicles. Your primary objective is to understand customer needs, present the features and benefits of Acura models effectively, and guide clients through the purchasing process to achieve sales targets. You will serve as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with customers by providing personalized service and expert knowledge of the automotive industry. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential buyers, following up on leads, and maintaining a thorough understanding of current promotions and inventory. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the dealership’s reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction across the United States market.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in automotive sales or a related customer-facing sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by dealership operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience selling luxury or premium automotive brands, preferably Acura.
  • Familiarity with automotive financing and leasing options.
  • Certification in automotive sales or customer service training programs.
  • Proficiency with dealership management software and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers promptly and professionally to assess their vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed information on Acura models, features, financing options, and warranty programs to assist customers in making informed decisions.
  • Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle capabilities to highlight key selling points.
  • Negotiate sales terms and close deals while ensuring compliance with dealership policies and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up communications using dealership CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the finance and service departments to facilitate smooth transaction processes and post-sale support.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position Acura vehicles in the marketplace.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events to enhance sales techniques and dealership visibility.
