About The Position

The 2027 Corebridge Financial Summer Internship Program offers a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their business acumen and gain insight into the finance and insurance industry. Interns are placed in meaningful roles that contribute to the business. The program lasts approximately 10 weeks and is designed for students entering their final year of undergraduate or graduate education. Interns will join one of Corebridge's business lines, gaining core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. They will also have opportunities to learn from senior management through webinars, discussion forums, and networking events. Interns establish goals with their managers and are evaluated at mid- and end-points of the summer. Successful interns may be considered for full-time analyst positions in summer 2028.

Requirements

  • Complete one or more Actuarial Exam(s) by December 2026
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.2 (unofficial transcript required upon application)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or candidate for bachelor’s or master’s degree to be received no later than August 2029.
  • Driven individuals who demonstrate strong academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Bold thinkers that possess solid analytical and quantitative skills
  • Enthusiastic about learning about the finance and insurance industry
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize

Responsibilities

  • Drive results at Corebridge Financial with expertise in quantitative analysis, insurance pricing, loss reserving, and risk quantification.
  • Ensure the financial condition of Corebridge Financials major regulated and rated insurance operating companies.
  • Reserving and valuation of liabilities.
  • Assessing the soundness of regulatory and rating agency capital.
  • Assessment of insurance capital needs.
  • Technical pricing.
  • Product development analytics.
  • Performance monitoring and measurement.
  • Assessment of reinsurance needs.
  • Work with marketing, operations, and financial management to achieve business objectives.
