About The Position

This role involves analyzing and reporting on client and state-specific requests, including the ability to interpret and summarize detailed medical claims and enrollment data. The position requires leading the development of client deliverables, managing project timelines, and ensuring all work products are technically reviewed. The consultant will also communicate project status updates, act as a resource for support staff, and participate in client and internal team meetings. A hybrid work schedule is available for local candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Thorough understanding of health care delivery, with emphasis on Medicaid
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Expertise using Microsoft Office suite
• Presentation skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbal

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of experience in related field, or an internship
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a professional environment performing actuarial, data, financial or health care related analyses and consulting
• Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, and preserve required licenses

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on client and state specific requests, including ability to analyze, review, interpret, and summarize detailed medical claims and enrollment data
• Independently determines methodologies and approach for project
• Lead the development of client deliverables including written documents
• Manage timelines including completion of client deliverables (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.)
• Ensures all work products are technically peer reviewed and submitted for consulting review
• Actively communicates project status updates with internal team (junior and senior members)
• Act as a resource for support staff
• Participate in client meetings, client presentations and internal team meetings
