About The Position

This is a 10-week full-time corporate internship program at CVS Health, designed to provide interns with real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. Interns will participate in projects that contribute to business success, community service activities, professional development workshops, mentorship, and interaction with senior leaders. The program aims to immerse interns in a culture of continuous improvement focused on enhancing healthcare. Interns aligned with projects will also engage in networking, development, and career exploration. There is an increased likelihood for corporate interns to receive an offer for a future full-time role with CVS Health. The Summer 2027 program is scheduled from May 26th to August 6th, 2027 (dates subject to change). The actuarial organization supports business leaders in managing risk through critical thought partnership and accountability for business results. Actuaries within Aetna, a CVS Health company, leverage analytical skills, business knowledge, and understanding of human behavior for activities related to pricing, reserving, forecasting, data analytics, competitive intelligence, healthcare trend analytics, and tracking business results. Past internship projects have been available across various business units including Commercial Business, Government Businesses & Medical Economics, with limited non-traditional Actuarial assignments also existing.

Requirements

  • Meet educational requirements
  • Have a willingness to relocate if needed
  • Have an interest in pursuing an Actuarial career
  • Be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and August 2030
  • Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position (e.g., Actuarial Science, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or other related degree)
