Requirements

Current Bachelor’s degree co-op student with a history of strong academic performance.
Proven track record in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical, organizational and time management skills; must be detail-oriented.
Ability to conceptualize details and develop action plans for problem solving and decision making.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment with limited supervision.
Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Alteryx, SQL, VBA is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Learn about actuarial pricing and assist in pricing reviews of large accounts and programs.
Assist in producing monthly pricing metrics, portfolio dashboards and branch P&L.
Updated existing pricing and portfolio management tools and find ways to improve current processes.
Assist in collecting data and producing analytics for portfolio reviews, planning and year-end reporting.
Prepare, validate and analyze exposure, premium and claims data as basis for actuarial analyses.
Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, IT, Claims and Risk Control on ad-hoc projects.
