About The Position

The Activity Security Representative II (ASR II) provides multi-disciplined security support to a customer facility and organization. This role supports day-to-day operations for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Requirements

  • Active security clearance is required
  • Must be eligible for access to Special Access Program (SAP) information
  • Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
  • 3–5 years of related security experience
  • Experience supporting SAP environments (required)
  • Must complete DoD SAPCO-approved SAPNP training (if performing personnel security functions)

Nice To Haves

  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) may count toward experience
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) may count toward experience
  • Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is limited per program guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree (desired)
  • Associate’s degree in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence
  • Assist in maintaining document accountability databases and related records
  • Process inbound and outbound classified mail, receipts, and courier packages
  • Perform destruction of classified materials in accordance with procedures
  • Process and maintain accountability for magnetic media
  • Provide reproduction support for classified materials
  • Maintain daily logs for administrative and document control functions
  • Assist in processing inbound and outbound data transfer files
  • Transfer electronic data files to internal customers
  • Maintain customer databases and point-of-contact listings
  • Support visit request processing, tracking, and record maintenance
  • Escort visitors and maintain visitor control logs
  • Assist in preparation and issuance of facility access badges
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections
  • Support facility access control systems and visitor management
  • Perform data entry in the Personnel Access Security System (PASS) and maintain personnel access records
  • Maintain personnel security files for supported personnel
  • Enforce and follow customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Support security education and awareness programs
  • Provide general administrative and security support as directed
  • Track and monitor security clearance processing actions
  • Support Air Force SAP security compliance inspections
  • Implement Top Secret control procedures for accountable material
  • Prepare and process Program Access Requests (PARs)
  • Execute SAP nomination process questionnaires
  • Conduct background and clearance checks using systems such as: Defense Central Index of Investigations (DCII), Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), SAP Nomination Process (SAPNP)
  • Perform data entry and record management in the Air Force Access Database System (AFADS)
  • Conduct security indoctrinations
