About The Position

Applicants for the Color Guard position are in charge of working collaboratively with the band director and staff to recruit, train and develop a successful color guard program. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop a basic skill program, choreograph the routines for the fall marching band show, contribute to the design process of the marching band, attend and supervise practices for the color guard, and instruct during the marching band rehearsals. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to academics, strong fundamental skills and sportsmanship. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with administrators, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students, parents and members of the community to insure that the school stands out with pride for our community. Requirements

  • Previous Color Guard experience REQUIRED.
  • High School or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Instructional experience preferred.
