About The Position

The Activity Director develops and implements therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents’ needs and facilitates individual and group activities for residents across varied functional levels. The role supports residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs in group and individual settings. The Activity Director completes assessments, care plans, progress notes, and MDS documentation; coordinates special events, community outings, and volunteer involvement; ensures compliance with state, federal, and company regulations; and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and families.

Requirements

• CTRS, MMT, or AT credential.
• RAC certification and good standing, required if not CTRS, MMT, or AT.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Activities Department within a healthcare setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
