About The Position

Our mission is to empower and support individuals to achieve their highest level of independence in the community.

Requirements

High School Diploma, equivalent or teacher recommendation.
Access to reliable transportation and clean driving record.
Successful completion of a Department of Justice background check.
Must have a cell phone/the ability to communicate while at the job sites in the community.

Responsibilities

Transporting and leading pods of 3-4 consumers to help them reach their goals through a variety of different activities.
Tailoring activities to support, teach and encourage personal growth.
Leading activities such as making healthy snacks, nutrition, and growing vegetables.
Fulfilling needs for creative expression through activities such as music, dance, art, crafts, and photography.
Leading social recreational activities such as physical fitness, yoga, basketball, and bowling.
Enriching lives through learning and visiting places like museums, historical buildings, fire stations and governmental offices.
Teaching consumers how to access community resources such as the library, public transit, parks and recreation centers.
