About The Position

This role involves supporting the daily operations of an Activity Center, focusing on customer service, member engagement, and administrative tasks. The position requires understanding health plan benefits, IPA structures, and coordinating with providers. Key responsibilities include staff scheduling, inventory management, event planning, and process improvement. The assistant manager will also be involved in staff supervision, training, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Additionally, the role supports membership growth, community partnerships, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative, customer service, or program coordination experience, preferably in a healthcare, senior services, community center, or recreational setting.
  • Experience working with older adults or diverse populations is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Recreation, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting events, activities, or community engagement programs is a plus.
