About The Position

St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School is seeking activity bus drivers to transport students to both local and out-of-town-events. This is a part-time non-exempt hourly position. Upon hire, the candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs, Transportation and Asset Management.

Requirements

• Valid CDL class B with P endorsement.
• At least one (1) verifiable year of experience operating a bus or comparable vehicle.
• At least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• Able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check (fingerprinting) and drug test.
• Complete an online application for employment and attach a cover letter and résumé.

Responsibilities

• Drive students to both local and out-of-town events.
• These events include but are not limited to: athletic events and competitions, retreats, and academic field trips as needed.
• Routes will include trips to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, as well as various locations in and around Austin.
• Local trips will be a minimum of four (4) hours.
• The driver's schedule will depend on the schedule of events, but is usually scheduled a minimum of two (2) weeks prior.
