This is a part-time position, with every other weekend required. The pay starts at $15.00 per hour. The Activity Associate assists in the creation, planning, and implementation of the Connections program, which are the daily activities for residents. The role ensures the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well-being.

Requirements

High School Diploma (Required)
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver's license (Required)
Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
Certification in CPR and First Aid

Nice To Haves

Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field (Preferred)
Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Entering resident information in multiple systems
Collecting resident profiles and assisting the activity department with other help as needed
Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
