About The Position

This is a second-generation private practice with over 40 years of history in the Mount Carmel community, led by Dr. Bryce Miller. The practice is built on a foundation of quality dentistry, genuine patient relationships, and a team that enjoys coming to work. The culture is relaxed, supportive, and focused on doing great work without politics or drama. The practice runs eight operatories with a team of four assistants, four hygienists, and three business team members. As an associate, you’ll have your own dedicated space with two operatories, a lab, and sterilization. You’ll have shared hygienists consistently feeding you patients. The systems are designed to let you focus on clinical care without worrying about the operational side. Dr. Miller offers mentorship in crown and bridge, scanning, treatment planning, and patient communication. The practice collects over $2 million annually, averages 27+ new patients per month, and has over 4,000 active patients. There is a clear path to partnership within two to three years for the right person. Mount Carmel is a tight-knit community with a low cost of living and a comfortable pace of life, close to Evansville (35 miles away), Louisville, Indianapolis, and St. Louis (all about two hours out).

Requirements

• Eager to learn and open to mentorship, with a genuine desire to grow their clinical skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
• A strong communicator who can connect with patients, explain treatment clearly, and build trust in a close-knit community.
• Comfortable with bread-and-butter restorative dentistry and motivated to keep improving their margins, composites, and crown work.
• Positive and optimistic, someone who brings good energy to the team and doesn’t get caught up in negativity or drama.
• Interested in growing into areas like cosmetics, dentures, sleep dentistry, or pediatric care as their career develops.
• Looking to settle in and build something long-term, not just pass through on the way to somewhere else.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality restorative and general dentistry with a focus on lasting results.
• Develop and present comprehensive, quadrant-based treatment plans to patients.
• Build genuine relationships with patients in a community where trust and communication matter.
• Collaborate with Dr. Miller on implant cases while expanding your clinical skill set.
• Work independently with your own dedicated operatories, supported by a trained clinical team.
