About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking an Activity Associate for their Aurora location. This full-time position involves assisting in the creation, planning, and implementation of the Connections program, which are the daily activities for residents. The goal is to ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well-being. The role requires weekend availability and previous experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Must be 18 years or older
Nice To Haves
- Assisted Living, Memory Care or Skilled Nursing experience
- Memory Care experience (Preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (Preferred)
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Entering resident information in multiple systems
- Attending care plan meetings with families and residents
- Collecting resident profiles
- Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
