About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking an Activity Associate for a part-time position available every Saturday and Sunday. This role is crucial in assisting with the creation, planning, and implementation of the Connections program, which aims to enhance the daily activities for residents. The goal is to ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well-being. Requirements
- High School Diploma (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field experience(Preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare or service-related setting (Preferred)
- Fitness background (Preferred)
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
- Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.
