Activity Associate/Driver- Bucks
About The Position
Juniper Village at Bucks County is seeking an energetic, friendly Activity Associate/Driver who enjoys staying active and connecting with people. This full-time role includes driving community members to shopping, church services, and local outings every weekend. When not driving, the associate leads fitness and engagement opportunities for residents throughout the community. The associate assists in creating, planning, and implementing the Connections program, the community’s daily activities for residents. The role supports resident leisure contentment and physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Clean driver's license.
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in social work, therapeutic recreation, psychology, gerontology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or service-related setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Connections activity program for the community.
- Work closely with Wellness Associates to implement Connections activity programs.
- Drive community members to shopping, church services, and local outings every weekend.
- Lead fitness and engagement opportunities for residents throughout the community when not driving.
