About The Position

The Activity Assistant role requires an individual to perform essential duties satisfactorily, focusing on coordinating and planning engaging activities for residents.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or over with clean driving record
• Must be willing to be on call in case a resident would need transported

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan engaging activities for residents
• Build trusting, professional relationships with patients, families, and care partners
• Maintain a professional demeanor while facilitating activities as scheduled on a calendar
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating transportation services for off-site activities
• Promote resident’s attendance at events and activities
• Assist with planning and implementing events and activities
• Computer literacy is necessary: MS Office Suite, flyers and newsletter publication
• May be required to operate company vehicles and provide transportation to our residents
