Requirements
- High school diploma (certification required by state regulations).
- Energy, creativity, and excellent communication skills.
- Genuine passion for working with elderly and disabled individuals.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and perform tasks safely.
- Adherence to the Patient Bill of Rights, Employee Responsibilities, and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and facilitating group events, one-on-one sessions, and special celebrations.
- Encouraging participation and forming meaningful relationships to ensure residents feel valued.
- Assisting residents to and from activities while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
- Tracking activity participation, recording progress, and conducting assessments to meet state and federal guidelines.
- Supporting residents and teammates by stepping in wherever needed.
