About The Position

The Activity Assistant supports engaging programs that meet residents’ social, emotional, spiritual, recreational, leisure, and social needs. The role helps bring joy, connection, and purpose to residents’ days while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. The Activity Assistant collaborates with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
• Support the execution of the daily and monthly activity calendar.
• Engage residents in group and individual activities.
• Help meet residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs.
• Encourage participation while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team.
