Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient attitude.

Ability to work effectively with elderly or special needs populations.
Physical ability to assist in activities and set up required materials.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities coordination, or related fields preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and facilitating a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
Engage residents in group and individual activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment during all activities.
Document participation and progress of residents in activities accurately and timely.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and family members to meet residents’ needs and preferences.
Set up and clean activity areas and materials as needed.
Encourage residents' independence and participation to enhance their quality of life.
