About The Position

Assists the Activity Director in planning and executing recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs for all residents.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills, including writing in a manner suitable for documentation.
• Working knowledge of and ability to assume a leadership role in conducting a variety of activities such as crafts, creative expression, music, games and gardening.
• Feeding Assistant Certified required (will provide training)
• Good interpersonal skills including group dynamics and teamwork.
• Cheerfulness, positive attitude and ability to motivate people.
• Genuine liking and respect for the elderly and physically and mentally challenged.
• Ability to work independently and with supervision.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates desired.

Responsibilities
