About The Position

The primary purpose of Activity Aide is to help the director with the assessment of resident abilities, limitations and preferences related to activities. He/she will assist in planning for and providing group and individual activities for the residents. There is also documentation, other record keeping, and attention to the environment.

Requirements

  • Compassion for the elderly.
  • Maintaining Confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with and understand the needs of the residents, families, and peers.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Know Residents’ Rights.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities
