Activities Supervisor - Youth and Teen Programming
About The Position
The Activities Supervisor – Youth & Teen Programming is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing recreational events and group experiences for guests ages 5–17 at TradeWinds Resort. The role oversees holiday events, themed activations, birthday parties, and youth programs, while supervising frontline staff, vendors, and event logistics. The Supervisor ensures programs are safe, well-organized, on-brand, and delivered with exceptional service and fun. The position is based at TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach. The role requires comfort working outdoors for eight hours or more in Florida’s hot climate. A bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Experience in resort recreational youth program management or a related field.

Responsibilities
- Plan diverse resort activities primarily for guests ages 5–17.
- Coordinate resort activities, poolside events, and beach games.
- Supervise and train recreation staff, ensure standard operating procedures are followed, and assist with staff scheduling.
- Interact with guests to tailor programs to their preferences.
- Collect guest feedback for continuous improvement.
- Enforce department and property safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
