About The Position
Villa Redondo is a assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking an energetic, friendly and creative Activities Director to join our assisted living team. Please submit your resume today!
Requirements
- Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
- Must have valid CA Driver License

Responsibilities
- Designs, develops and conducts activities program provided on a daily basis and modifies existing programs as necessary
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with residents
- Develops and maintains a volunteer program
- Designs and arranges outside contracted entertainment
- Designs and arranges recurring events such as monthly calendars, newsletters, and themed facility events
- Develops, manages and coordinates activities outings
- Conduct room visits and actively participate in client council meetings
- Additional duties assigned by Administrator
