Requirements

• Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree in related field (counseling, recreation therapy) preferred
• At least one (1) year of experience providing group therapy in a hospital setting with psychiatric patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses new patients within 72 hours of admission
• Provides direct patient group treatment
• Writes progress notes for one to one and group sessions according to policies and procedures
• Provides comprehensive therapeutic activities consistent with each patient's active treatment program
