About The Position
Activities Coordinator – Adult Day Health- Bilingual in Spanish Required Quality Life Adult Day – West Springfield, MA $17.00/hour Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift No evenings, no weekends, no on-call! Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid drivers license with clear driving record
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to complete required state trainings within set timeframes
Nice To Haves
- Activity Coordinator certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead group and individual recreational activities based on each individual’s interests and abilities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create meaningful, person-centered programs
- Provide guidance and support to staff on activity delivery and engagement techniques
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals served
- Maintain curriculum binders with age-appropriate, engaging activities
