About The Position

Steamboat is looking for outgoing people to join our team in operating the activities including bounce house, gem mining and other yard games and activities as assigned. All applicants must be at least 14 years of age and able to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements

  • 2 years of previous work history/education required
  • Must have excellent guest service skills and experience in the guest service field is helpful
  • Adhere to all safety policies
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Must have basic computer skills for the operation of handheld ticket scanning devices
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with activities a plus

Responsibilities

  • Operate the Activities while open
  • Inspect and set up all Activities equipment and structures prior to opening
  • Ticket and line management, scan tickets and control line flow, while communicating with guests
  • Proving guest service in line with our Service Excellence standards.
  • Properly go over safety briefings with guests
  • Talk to guests and help with any questions
  • Close and store all equipment properly
  • Maintain a clean area around the activities
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements.
  • Attend team meetings as required
  • May be asked to assist with other Base Area Services including groundskeeping, debris removal and event set up.
  • Other duties as assigned
