About The Position

Resident Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group facilitation and large group presentations and assists the resident activity director as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent
• CNA license is preferred, but we will train
• Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group facilitation and large group presentations.
• Assists the resident activity director as needed.
• Communicates to residents the daily activities.
• Helps residents to activities.
• Does daily documentation.
• Helps with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth.
