About The Position
Altercare Somerset is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to create a fun and interactive environment for residents. This role involves organizing and participating in personalized activity programming, including one-on-one interventions and small group activities. The Activities Assistant will also support the resident activity director as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- STNA license is preferred.
- Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming.
- Conducts one-to-one interventions and small group activities.
- Assists the resident activity director as needed.
