Westminster Oaks is seeking a Full-Time Activities Assistant to assist in planning, developing, and directing the overall operation of the activities department in accordance with regulatory guidelines and our established policies and procedures. The role assures that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet the level of interests and abilities of each resident. Responsibilities include implementing and conducting programs as assigned by the Activities Director, encouraging resident attendance, and managing setup and clean-up for activities. The position also involves leading and assisting resident groups on community outings, conducting one-on-one activities with residents requiring them, completing documentation such as Assessments and Daily Attendance Sheets, and purchasing and organizing decorations and supplies for daily and holiday activities. Assisting with decorating Health Center common areas is also part of the role.
