About The Position
Lewisport, Kentucky Type Part Time Do you have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for geriatrics? If so, consider joining our team! We have a unique career opportunity available for an Activities Assistant. This is a part-time position with rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Aide preferred.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with grooming needs prior to attending activities.
- Assess resident capabilities concerning activities and group programs.
- Assist in recruiting and maintaining volunteers to assist in activity programs.
- Assist the Resident and Family Councils and bring their concerns to the attention of the Administrator and other appropriate staff.
- Assist with all charitable fundraising activities as needed.
- Responsible for seeing that the resident mail and newspapers are sorted and delivered to the residents each day.
- Perform daily activities, special events, and in-room visits.
- Assist with resident outings.
