About The Position
The Gardens at Columbine is looking for a dependable and energetic Activities Assistant to join their team. This is a part-time position working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the ability to pick up weekend shifts as needed. In this role, you will plan and lead engaging group activities for residents across all levels of care, including assisted living and memory care, playing a direct role in the daily quality of life for the people served.
Requirements
- No prior experience required — we will train the right person
- Genuine interest in working with older adults
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Ability to work weekends when needed
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate scheduled group activities for residents
- Adapt programming to meet the needs of residents across all care levels
- Support a positive, engaging environment for all participants
- Maintain accurate activity attendance and documentation
- Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team
