About The Position
Riverwalk Post Acute is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. Requirements
- Energetic, outgoing, and creative
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with seniors and individuals with varying needs
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in activities or recreation is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs
- Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual needs
- Support the setup and decoration of events and special celebrations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a vibrant community atmosphere
- Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to all activities
