We are seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team! The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting the Activities Director with a program of activities at the community. The Activities Assistant has the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for Elder centered/directed care to team members, families, physicians, allied health professionals, and the at large community.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.
Must possess a valid drivers license, class E drivers license and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Participates in activities with residents of the community.
Maintains department activity logs and documentation.
Understands, practices, and communicates resident directed/centered care on a daily basis as it relates to the activities department.
Plans activities as directed by the supervisor.
Works with the resident and family councils.
Has the ability to direct and supervise volunteers.
Helps with Dietary if requested.
