Requirements

• Ability to build trusting, professional relationships with patients, families, caregivers and referral sources.
• Professional demeanor.
• Capacity to assess individual resident interests.
• Willingness to assist residents with their personal preferences for daily activities.
• Capable of collaborating with other departments to conduct meaningful resident engagement.
• Prove interested in providing one-on-one time with residents.
• Aide with documentation of assessments, participation records, and other information as required by department leader.

Nice To Haves

• 18 years or older
• Nursing Home Activities experience
• State Tested Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Caring for the residents by showing passion for planning fun activities.
• Helping with and participating in fun and engaging activities.
• Facilitating activities as scheduled on calendar.
• Engaging with residents in small group activities.
• Assisting residents with their personal preferences for daily activities.
• Collaborating with other departments to conduct meaningful resident engagement.
• Providing one-on-one time with residents.
• Documentation of assessments, participation records, and other information as required by department leader.
