About The Position

The Actionable Findings Coordinator plays a critical role in patient safety and quality by overseeing the full lifecycle of actionable, critical, and significant unexpected diagnostic findings for all of CentraCare. This position ensures that findings identified in imaging and diagnostic reports are communicated, acknowledged, documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely and reliable manner, supporting closed loop communication and reducing the risk of missed or delayed follow up. Serving as a central point of coordination, the Actionable Findings Coordinator works closely with radiologists, referring providers, clinical care teams, and operational partners to facilitate clear communication, escalate unacknowledged findings, and support adherence to regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. The role requires a high level of clinical understanding, attention to detail, and judgment to prioritize time sensitive findings and manage multiple concurrent workflows. In addition to day to day coordination, the Actionable Findings Coordinator contributes to process improvement, data tracking, and quality initiatives, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to strengthen actionable findings workflows. This role supports a culture of safety, accountability, and reliability across imaging and diagnostic services while improving continuity of care and patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing, radiologic sciences, health information or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, imaging services, care coordination or quality/safety roles.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating time sensitive workflows, clinical communication, or follow up processes.
  • Must have one of the following: Minnesota RN licensure, ARRT certification, RDMS certification or CNMT certification
  • Experience working with EHR systems and clinical documentation tools
