About The Position

Bring great food to life and help create unforgettable guest experiences. As a Cook, you will prepare and present high-quality food items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and consistency. You will support culinary operations by following established recipes, operating kitchen equipment safely, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Action Station Cook at Tropicana Field home of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, stadium, hotel, or high-volume foodservice environment preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; ServSafe Food Handler or equivalent certification preferred (or ability to obtain as required).
Ability to safely operate standard commercial kitchen equipment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare food according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
Cook and assemble menu items in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Monitor food quality, temperatures, and product freshness.
Stock and replenish ingredients and supplies as needed.
Communicate with culinary and service team members to support efficient operations.
Minimize food waste by following proper portioning and storage procedures.
Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
Support a safe, inclusive, and guest-focused work environment.
