About The Position

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking an ACT Team Lead to help guide our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program in Springfield, Missouri. The ACT Team Lead provides clinical and operational leadership to the ACT team while ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for clients. This role combines direct client care with supervision, documentation oversight, staff development, hiring support, and program implementation responsibilities. The position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, supporting team success, and promoting positive outcomes for individuals served through the ACT program.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology , Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
  • Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) eligibility preferred based on education and experience requirements
  • Experience providing behavioral health services and working with individuals experiencing serious mental health challenges preferred
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving capabilities
  • Commitment to providing person-centered, recovery-oriented care

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support ACT team members through regular individual supervision sessions and team meetings
  • Provide direct behavioral health services to clients approximately 50% of the time
  • Collaborate with team members to evaluate client needs, develop interventions, and promote successful outcomes
  • Participate in intake and annual clinical assessments, including diagnoses, psychosocial histories, clinical findings, and treatment recommendations
  • Monitor documentation quality and compliance, providing coaching, corrective feedback, and performance management when necessary
  • Facilitate recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding activities for new team members
  • Recommend and support appropriate credentialing for supervisees
  • Maintain ACT program policies, practices, standards, and service delivery expectations
  • Communicate critical incidents and staff responses to program leadership in a timely manner
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
