About The Position

Huntington Learning Center of Omaha is seeking a Reading and English ACT Tutor to provide individualized instruction to high school students. The role involves one-on-one tutoring in ACT Reading and English, supporting students with comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and test-taking strategies, and helping them build confidence and improve performance in a structured setting. Training and instructional materials are provided. The position offers flexible part-time teaching hours, with schedules arranged to work with the teacher’s availability. Permanent or seasonal roles are available.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Strong reading, grammar, and English language skills.
• Familiarity with the ACT or SAT and standardized testing.
• Professional, responsible, and dependable.
• Positive, enthusiastic, flexible, and supportive with high school students.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree is a plus.
• Teaching, tutoring, or writing-related experience is a plus.
