ACT/SAT English and Reading Tutor

About The Position
We are looking for qualified candidates to tutor motivated students preparing for the ACT or SAT. Candidates with degrees in English, Social Science, Humanities, and Business are ideal for English/Reading ACT instruction. No certification is required for ACT tutoring. Availability for at least 2-3 consistent days per week is necessary.
Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree.
- Must be flexible and reliable.
- Willing to work a minimum of 2-3 days (6-10 hours) per week.
- Must be within reasonable commuting distance of the center.
Nice To Haves
- Tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not a strict requirement.
- Degrees in English, Social Science, Humanities, and Business for English/Reading ACT instruction.
Responsibilities
- Tutor motivated students preparing for the ACT or SAT.
- Work with a variety of students on an individual or one-to-one basis.
- Track students' progress and help them improve their skills, confidence, and motivation.
- Concentrate on academics as there are no discipline problems.
- Teach using provided curriculum and supplies.
- Begin teaching immediately upon arrival at the Center, as no homework correction or lesson plan development is required.
