About The Position

Huntington Learning Center in Anderson is seeking part-time tutors to prepare high school juniors and seniors for the ACT English & Reading or Math & Science sections. We provide all training and instructional materials. This role offers flexible afternoon and evening hours Monday through Thursday, and daytime hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Tutors work one-on-one with students, with sessions lasting two hours. Our center has seen an average 7-point increase in ACT scores. We are looking for caring, qualified, and committed individuals who want to make a difference in children's lives and help them excel academically. At Huntington, there are no lesson plans to write or homework to grade. We offer opportunities to work after school, on weekends during the school year, and more during the summer. Huntington Learning Center has been a leader in educational services since 1977, with a team of devoted tutors who love seeing children succeed.

Requirements

• 4-year degree required.
