Acrylic Trimming Technician
About The Position
Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production and processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and other controls to ensure adherence to production and process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work orders, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications during manufacturing. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs, and dismantles machinery and equipment according to established documentation, layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings. Sets up, calibrates, tests, and troubleshoots circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts and components, and electrical or electronic systems into subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. The role includes machine operation, process operations, product assembly, and production technician work.
Requirements
- Must be able to complete the majority of complex acrylic appliances.
- Must be able to maintain 2.0 units per hour while fabricating appliances.
- Must show regular and predictable attendance.
Responsibilities

- Monitor process controls and conditions to ensure production specifications are met.
- Follow engineering drawings, work orders, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other specifications.
- Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair, and dismantle machinery and equipment according to established documentation and drawings.
- Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts and components, and electrical or electronic systems using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment.
- Fabricate acrylic appliances while maintaining a production rate of 2.0 units per hour.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
