In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community. We are seeking a Acquisition Specialist/Technical Writer to provide dedicated acquisition and contract management support to the DHS-USSS contract. This position will provide hands-on cradle-to-grave contracting support across the federal acquisition lifecycle, including acquisition planning, market research, solicitation development, evaluation support, award documentation, post-award administration, reporting, and electronic procurement file maintenance. The role is primarily performed at the contractor’s facilities, with potential travel to Government facilities for badging, fingerprinting, or meetings as approved by the Government.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in federal acquisition processes and technical writing.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance Required

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and refine Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), and other procurement documents for security-related projects for USSS review and approval.
  • Assist in preparing acquisition strategies, market research reports, Justification & Approval (J&A) documents, and independent government estimates (IGEs).
  • Support solicitation package development, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DHS, USSS, and internal acquisition policies.
  • Coordinate with program managers, engineers, contracting officers (CO), and vendors to clarify technical requirements and acquisition milestones.
  • Track and manage acquisition timelines and deliverables.
  • Keep a record of contract modifications and award documentation provided by Procurement.
  • Produce high-quality draft technical documents including design narratives, requirements documents, project charters, risk assessments, and change management documentation.
  • Maintain, update, and standardize construction project documentation, templates, and reference materials.
  • Ensure document consistency, technical accuracy, proper formatting, and compliance with USSS and DHS documentation standards.
